Premium and Commissioner Pro Premium roster awareness

Know when a roster status changes—without watching every feed.

PoolForge connects verified injury changes to active pool rosters, respects each manager's alert preference, and links the update back to the affected team.

Clear product boundary. Alerts report recorded status changes; they do not diagnose injuries or promise a return date.

Implemented, gated, and explained

Every promise maps to a working product behavior.

The feature, entitlement boundary, empty states, and public story use the same plan contract.

Roster-specific delivery

A change fans out only to active roster selections that contain the affected player.

Useful status context

Notifications can include old and new status, NHL team, body area, and the retained injury note.

Localized and preference-aware

Copy follows the recipient's language and the roster-injury notification preference on their account.

Duplicate protection

Event-based deduplication prevents the same recorded injury transition from repeatedly notifying a manager.

A clear path

From setup to confident action.

  1. 1

    Enable roster injury alerts

Use the pool's Game Center display settings to choose whether you want these updates.

  2. 2

    PoolForge matches the roster

When an injury event is recorded, active selections for that player are identified.

  3. 3

    Open the affected team

The notification links to the relevant roster so the manager can review—not automate—the next move.

Fantasy hockey roster injury alerts FAQ

Whose plan unlocks roster injury alerts?

Alerts are pool-scoped and follow the pool owner's effective Premium, Commissioner Pro, Legacy, or active Premium trial entitlement. Each recipient still controls their own alert preference.

Which injury states are reported?

The current model distinguishes Healthy, Day-to-Day, and Injured. A notification describes a recorded transition between states and may include source context.

Are return dates guaranteed?

No. Notes and expected dates are informational source data and can change. PoolForge presents the recorded state without making medical predictions.

Will one player trigger duplicate messages?

Each durable injury event uses a deduplication key per pool and recipient. That keeps retries from turning one recorded change into repeated alerts.
