Information we collect
We collect account details like your name, email, and pool settings. When you use PoolForge, we also store roster selections, scoring preferences, and activity history to run your pool.
How we use data
Data powers standings, notifications, and account security. We use it to operate PoolForge, improve performance, and provide support when requested.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data when required by law or to provide core services such as email delivery.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and remember preferences. We self-host Umami to measure page usage and a limited set of product and subscription milestones. Umami is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, session replay, or heatmaps.
For signed-in accounts that have not opted out, analytics may use a versioned pseudonymous identifier created with a one-way keyed hash. We never send names, email addresses, usernames, raw account or pool IDs, Stripe IDs, form contents, secret URL values, or unrestricted URLs.
We keep only controlled lifecycle and campaign properties. When geography is enabled, the self-hosted collector derives country, region, and city from the connection address without storing the raw IP address. We honor browser Do Not Track and both browser-level and account-level opt-outs.
Analytics is retained for 25 months. Account deletion schedules removal of linked analytics within 24 hours, with an identifier-only deletion record retained through the backup window so restored backups can be purged again.
Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. You can opt out of product analytics or request account deletion in Settings, and we will remove your data as required by law.
