Turn free-agent chaos into a fair, reviewable process.

Final

Implemented, gated, and explained

Every promise maps to a working product behavior.

The feature, entitlement boundary, empty states, and public story use the same plan contract.

Scheduled claim windows

Commissioners set the open and close time, then the processor finalizes the run once.

FAAB and rolling priority

Higher bids lead, then priority order, claim time, and claim ID provide deterministic tie-breaking.

Roster-safe awards

Funds, player availability, optional drops, and final roster validity are checked again at processing time.

Auditable commissioner control

Authorized commissioners can create runs, adjust budgets, reset priority, and review retained outcomes.

A clear path

From setup to confident action.

  1. 1

    Open the window

An authorized commissioner enables waivers and creates a clearly timed run.

  2. 2

    Submit confidential claims

Eligible managers choose a player, FAAB bid, and optional roster drop before the deadline; other managers cannot see the bid.

  3. 3

    Process and notify

The run resolves idempotently, updates rosters and budgets, records activity, and sends outcomes.

Fantasy hockey waivers and FAAB FAQ

Can every member see waiver activity?

When the pool owner's plan includes waivers, authorized members can see windows, their own claims, and run history. Other managers cannot see a claim bid; authorized commissioner history can review claims and outcomes.

Who can submit a personal claim?

Submitting or cancelling your own claim requires Premium, Commissioner Pro, Legacy, or an active Premium trial on your account, even when the commissioner's plan already funds the league waiver board.

How are tied claims resolved?

Claims sort by highest FAAB bid, then the priority captured at submission, then submission time and claim ID. A successful manager moves to the bottom of rolling priority.

Can processing run twice?

The processor locks the run and treats an already finalized run as a no-op, protecting rosters and FAAB from duplicate awards.
