Start free, grow with your league
Every plan includes the complete Draft League room, exclusive rosters, recommendations, queues, smart auto-pick, and first-come free agents. Paid plans raise limits and can enable trading after completion.
The available NHL player inventory must also be large enough to fill every exact roster.
Draft journey
From invitations to official rosters
-
Create and invite
Choose exact position quotas, a clock, a timeout policy, a timezone, and an optional scheduled start, then invite at least one more active team.
-
Confirm the setup
The commissioner confirms the settings and verifies that enough eligible NHL players exist to fill every roster.
-
Reveal order and build rankings
A secure random snake order locks the participants. Frozen projections power the draft room's rankings and recommendations.
-
Open the lobby
Managers review the order, prepare private queues and Do Not Draft lists, and mark themselves ready.
-
Draft and review
Every legal selection updates the board and roster map. After the final pick, the commissioner reviews every assignment before finalizing.
Prepare with confidence
- Search and filter the frozen player catalogue
- Personal recommendations based on projection, scarcity, roster need, and recent picks
- Private queue, Do Not Draft list, and optional auto-draft
- Live quota guidance that prevents an impossible roster
- Persistent room state so managers can leave and return
Run a fair, recoverable draft
- Confirm settings, reveal the order, build rankings, and open the lobby
- Start after everyone is ready or record an override reason
- Pause, resume, adjust the clock, or pick for the current team
- Skip, undo, redo, move, reinsert, or correct picks with an audit trail
- Review incomplete assignments before completing the draft
After the draft
- Claim an available player first-come while releasing a same-position player
- Keep exclusive ownership protected when multiple managers act at once
- Enable optional trading after completion when the commissioner has a paid plan
